Coconut’s Groove is a new Danish record label run by DJ Coconut Jim.
The label will be dedicated to releasing vintage style soulful, groovy and funky music on vinyl.
The first release on Coconut’s Groove is the self-titled debut LP from the Copenhagen based 14 piece afrobeat ensemble WhoAreYouPeople, known for their epic and energetic live shows and a rich pulsating sound. The band formed in 2009 and released their first single in 2013 and now Coconut’s Groove are proud to present their first full length release of pure afrobeat dynamite.
